Showing how waakye stew is prepared
2 tins of tomatoes plums
7 large onion
Beef/Mutton/Cow foot etc
Seasons of choice
1 Cut 5 onions into big pieces and fry till golden brown and allow to cook
2 Chop one onion and fry in the cooking oil till brown and soft
3 Blend the tomato plums with one onion, pepper and ginger
4 Add the already fried onions to the tomatoes and blend.
5 Pour the blended tomato mixture to the onions on fire.
6 Stir and allow to cook for about 30min
7 Add the steamed cow foot or meat etc to the stew and allow to cook for about 10
8 Add the seasons, magie tablets etc.
9 Allow to cook for about 10 more minutes or till the desired dark brown colour is reached.
10 Check for salt.
Serve with waakye, plain rice.etc
