How to prepare Rich biscuits
Ingredients in This Recipe:
• 5 Tablespoon heaped scoops Plain flour
• 4 Tablespoon Margarine / butter
• 3 Tablespoon full of Sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda
• Pinch of salt
• ½ teaspoon Vanilla essence
• Fresh/ evaporated milk
1. Sieve the flour into your mixing bowl.
2. Add the sugar, salt and bicarbonate of soda.
3. Add the butter.
4. With your clean hands, use your finger tips to rub in the margarine with the flour till evenly done.
5. Add the vanilla essence.
6. Add a tablespoon of milk.
7. Mix together into a firm dough.
8. Put the dough on your chopping board, (sprinkle some flour on the board to prevent the dough from sticking to the board and the rolling pin).
9. Roll the dough till about 80-100 millimetre thick.
10. Cut the dough into preferred shapes and sizes.
