How To MakeTea Bread
Ingredients:
10 ounce bread
1 teaspoon salt
Nutmeg
Half teaspoonful sugar
1& 1/2 sachet of 75g Dry yeast
1 Table spoonful Butter
Warm water (about 150ml)
Method:
1 Measure the flour into your mixing bowl
2 Add the yeast
3 Add salt
4 Add sugar
5 Add butter
6 Rub in the ingredients
7 Add the warm water gradually
8 Mix till the medium hard dough is achieved.
9 Kneed the dough on the working surface untill a good elastic texture is obtained
10 Mould into desired shape
11 Put the dough in your greased baking pan
12 Allow the dough to proof for about 15- 20 min by covering it with a damp cloth.
13 Pre heat oven for about 5 min
14 Put the dough in the oven at 150C = 300F = Gas Mark for about 15 min.
15 Check whether bread is ready.
16 Remove and cover with kitchen napkin and allow to cool.
17 Serve with tea or porridges.
