If you have tried to make hausa koko and did not taste quite the same as those sold by your local vendor, it’s probably because you did not add the right spices. The following are the spices needed for the preparation of hausa koko to get the ‘original’ taste. All the spices have to be milled together with the millet to get the ‘flour’.
